Farley: Gillibrand Stays Silent as Albany is Rampant with Sexual Harassment; like she did when asked about abusive sex cult her father worked for

Gillibrand sexual harassment targets of political convenience and calculation, not courage

Chele Farley is critical of her opponent, Sen.. Gillibrand’s silence on sex abuse of women.

The following is a statement from the campaign of Chele Farley, a Republican who is running against Kirsten Gillibrand for the office of US Senator representing New York.

New York, New York –  In the wake of Kirsten Gillibrand’s latest failure, this time her high profile effort to pass sexual harassment legislation in Washington, U.S. Senate candidate Chele Farley today called on Gillibrand to step up and protect women in her home state.

“Kirsten Gillibrand talks a good game but if you look close, her targets are matters of political convenience and calculation, not courage. The question remains, does Kirsten Gillibrand have the guts to really stand up for New York women,” asked Farley.

From Cy Vance’s mishandling of the Weinstein case, to the victims and whistleblowers who are being mistreated at the Division of Criminal Justice Services – New York is rampant with abuse – yet Kirsten Gillibrand remains strategically silent.

Concluded Farley, “Time and time again, Kirsten Gillibrand picks the convenient target – she supported Vito Lopez until he was convicted and gladly pocketed donations from Harvey Weinstein and his lawyers until his open secret, splashed across the front page. Does she have the guts to stand up for New York’s women when it’s not convenient to her national political ambitions?”

Artvoice broke the story that Kirsten Gillibrand took a $2,400 campaign donation from Clare Bronfman, the Vice President of operations for NXIVM, a sex cult that brands women on their pubic areas as slaves. Gillibrand’s father worked for the cult and was later sued by them based on allegations of sexual harassment. When asked whether she knew about the abusive practices of the cult, Gillibrand claimed she never heard of them.

Gillibrand’s father is Albany political fixer Doug Rutnik.

Rutnik worked for Nxivm — which is led by pedophile and sex abuser Keith Raniere.

Raniere made world wide headlines after Artvoice broke the story of how his group cattle brands women on their pubic region to mark them as his slaves. The story was followed up in the New York Times and other media outlets worldwide.

When asked by the New York Post, if she cared to comment on her dad’s affiliation with Raniere and the practice of branding women on their pubic area, Gillibrand declined comment.

A spokesman for the senator told the Post, “Sen. Gillibrand had never heard of this group [NXIVM] until she recently read about them in the newspaper.”

Gillibrand’s hometown is Albany. NXIVM has been featured in more than 50 stories by the local newspaper, the Albany Times Union, many of them front page stories.

When Gillibrand first ran for office, Bronfman -top aide to the sex abuser Raniere – made a generous $2,400 donation to help get her elected.
