Notes From The Right
Just a couple of things from the May 26 paper…
First, on the Hochul election. Only 25 percent of eligible voters voted in the race, and Kathy Hochul only got 47 percent of the vote. The other 75 percent who didn’t vote have nobody to blame but themselves. I know I voted, and my congressman, Jack Davis, brings a world of real-life experience to the table. Hochul, however, has only lived and worked in politics, and thus has no support or respect from me. She will not represent the Commonwealth of Niagara very well, mark my words.
And on the “open letter” to Mark Grisanti: Any fool can follow the crowd. One of conviction who stands for his beliefs despite the winds of popular opinion is to be respected. Nobody likes, or respects, a compromiser.
Lloyd Marshall, Jr., Lockport
