Ramona and Juliet

The gender-bending lesbo-centric theater company, Brazen-Faced Varlets first burst onto the Buffalo theater scene a few years ago with Ramona and Juliet, a lesbian parody of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, cleverly written by Shawn Northrip.

After forays through other classics, historic plays, and even through the tabloids and reality television, Brazen-Faced Varlets will return to the scene of their original grand-theft-comedy in a production co-directed by Kelly M. Beuth and Lara D. Haberberger, starring Jenny Gembka, Maria Nicole Held, Beuth, and Haberberger. Prepare to laugh!

Performances continue through June 2 at Rust Belt Books
