The Fox on the Fairway

The Fox on the Fairway

Kaleidoscope Theatre Productions

The Fox on the Fairway may well be the finest work I’ve seen at Kaleidoscope. This screwball comedy by Ken Ludwig, author of Lend Me a Tenor, provides a strong cast to prove their comic chops. This is the story of a golf club trying to defeat their rival club in a tournament. Things get hilariously ugly! Excellent work from Geoff Pictor as the guileless competitor for the home club. Lona Geiser is fantastic as Pamela, the club member with an ax to grind. Thomas LaChiusa gives a lesson in comedy as the anxious club president. Kelsey George Mogenson is a happy addition to the theater scene as the ingénue—she has wonderful timing and appealing stage presence. Monish Bhattacharyya and Shayna Raichilson-Zadok are diabolical fun as the Boris and Natasha of the plot. This is one good time!
