Help Keep Occupy Buffalo Alive and Growing

At Occupy Buffalo they suffered a lot last week for their ideals—a peaceful encampment destroyed at 2am, with a terrible display of force, smashing the tents and personal effects and donated goods that made their difficult witness possible in the cold.

They didn’t deserve what was done to them, but instead of mourning they are working to keep the occupy movement growing.

Buffalo is a city with many groups and projects working for peace and justice.

It is also a city of art and music and dance and theater.

I want to invite and challenge everyone to use some part of every venue and event and performance to commemorate and honor the heart of Occupy Buffalo.

Art will help us remember and continue the hard work and idealism.
