The triumphs and travails of love play out in nine vignettes by John Cariani, presented by Buffalo Laboratory Theatre in Hamburg. The play was a smash in Portland, Maine, and while it was too kitsch for Manhattan tastes, it has proven to be a crowd-pleaser just about everywhere else. This production, directed by Katie White, features Jacob Kahn, John Kaczarowski, Tara Kaczarowski, Kelsey Mogenson, Mary Ryan, and Shawn William Smith as residents of the fictional town of Almost, Maine, as they face the challenges of romance.
