Fred Keller Memorial

Canisius College will host a celebration of the life of Fred A. Keller (1919-2011) on Saturday, April 13, 2013, 4-6pm, in the Regis Room of the Student Center. Wine, cheese, and soft drinks will be served and film clips will be shown as those present celebrate the life of Buffalo TV, radio, and theater pioneer Fred A Keller.

On the day previous, Keller’s son, Fred K. Keller, will talk about his experiences in Hollywood, including: writing for Columbo; directing the independent feature film Tuck Everlasting; directing such television shows as 24, CSI Miami, and House; and producing such television series as Boomtown and Blue Bloods. Keller will also discuss the ins and outs of attempting to have a career in Hollywood for actors and others with an interest in the entertainment business.
