Tolbert Campaign Begins

On Tuesday afternoon, Bernie Tolbert’s campaign for mayor launched its first offensive, announcing that he was starting a web page called “Byron Brown’s Buffalo,” where citizens can post pictures and video of problems in their neighborhoods that the Brown administration had failed to address. (The site is byronbrownsbuffalo.tumblr.com; you can also upload material tolbert2013.com.)

Greenpac Reveals Radioactive Waste Issue at Niagara Falls Mill

Last week, Greenpac Mill, LLC, filed a federal lawsuit seeking $50 million in damages from three companies the suit claims are responsible for radioactive contamination encountered while Greenpac was building its new $430 million facility at Royal Avenue and 47th Street in Niagara Falls.

Meantime, on Tuesday at the Seneca Niagara Casino, Seneca Nation President Barry Snyder handed a giant fake check for $349 million to New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo, who in turn handed a giant fake check for $89 million to Niagara Falls Mayor Paul Dyster.
