The Proper Cocktail

by Peter Soscia

Meeting someone for drinks in Buffalo usually means you’ll be ordering some sort of beer—could be a Labatt Blue, a PBR, Bud, an import or a local craft brew. Local Stout Beers Pay Tribute to the Old Sod

by Erik Wollschlager

It seems that 2015 is flying by, and as we are hurled headlong into March, we find ourselves mere days away from St. Patrick’s Day. The openly adversarial relationship between New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and the Buffalo Teachers Federation (BTF) is about to become more oppositional, or at least more dramatic. In fact, dramatizing the union’s serious educational policy and practices dispute with the governor is a primary object of an event BTF president Phil Rumore has planned for later this month.
