Buffalo Jazz Octet will perform original music by John Bacon, Michael McNeill, and Nelson Rivera. Joining the band for the evening are special guests Bobby Militello (alto saxophone) and Rick Fleming (trombone) conducted by Brendan Fitzgerald.

FRI 5/29 Buffalove Fest

The 3rd annual BuffaLove Fest will be taking place at the zoo this Friday at 5:30pm. You can enjoy some of the areas best food trucks, live music, beer, wine, art and much more. Tickets are $20 and that includes 2 free drinks.

FRI 5/29 Harmonica Lewinski

Surf-rock, funk, punk and indie will all collide with a sonic boom this Friday night at Nietzsche’s. The Rochester group Harmonica Lewinski will be headlining the night with support from Mallwalkers, Bryan Johnson and Family, and Phantom Chemistry.

SAT 5/30 El Buen Amigo 2th Anniversary Dinner

Buffalo State College Campbell Student Union | 6-10pm

All Proceeds of this dinner will benefit the Latin American Cultural Association. Dinner will be a traditional Peruvian meal catered by Pure Perú. In addition, there will be a photo booth for guests, live music and dancing including performances by Power of Unity, Latin American Student Association, and Amor and Heritage Dance Company.

MON 6/1 Buffalo Pride Week
Flag raising Ceremony

Niagara Square (City Hall) | Noon-1pm | free

Kick off Pride Week, The Pride Center of Western New York will join Mayor Byron Brown and other city officials to raise a pride flag in Niagara Square, in front of City Hall. Everyone is invited to join in celebration and advocacy.

The Baltimore “Noise-pop” band, Wildhoney will be making their way to Mohawk Place for a wild performance you won’t want to miss. The Spook School, Difficult Night, and Alien Three will be opening up the show.
