Explore Buffalo offers docent-led tours featuring various aspects of Buffalo’s history and culture. In the summer walking, bike, boat and bus tours are available and many tours are partnered with local restaurants. Season passes are also available. See website for more details.

Twilight Tour of Homes - June 19, 5pm-9pm. Explore beautiful homes and mansions in the Delaware and Oakland Place neighborhoods at your own pace. Advance and VIP tickets are available for purchase on the website. See website for guidebook and ticket pickup times and locations. The tour will begin at the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site. Silo City Vertial - This tour covers the American complex and Perot malthouse. Learn about the history and mechanics of the grain elevators as well as the malt production process. This tour lasts approximately two and a half hours and is not recommended for those with a fear of heights. Reservations required. More info.

Brewing Buffalo: Then and Now Bus Tour - Enjoy learning about Buffalo’s brewing history while touring several local breweries and sampling brews. Register online.

Allentown Mob Tour - Learn about the history of the mob’s activity and role in Buffalo’s history in the mob’s epicenter: Allentown. This tour is adapted from “Gangsters and Organized Crime in Buffalo” by Mike Rizzo. Space is limited. Reservations are encouraged. More info.

West Side Mob Tour - Learn about Buffalo’s West Side’s role as a hub of organized crime that frustrated law enforcement for decades. Space is limited. Reservations are encouraged. More info.

Riverfront Renaissance - This walking tour covers the history of industrial development in Buffalo, brought by the city’s commercial slip on western edge of the Erie Canal. More info.

Millionaire Mile: Delaware Avenue Mansions - Tour covers the section of Delaware avenue from North Street to Bryant Street home to some of the most glorious mansions that Buffalo has to offer. Learn about the stories of the millionaire families that built these mansions during the Gilded Age. Space is limited, reservations are encouraged. More info.

Buffalo Tours Summer Kickoff Celebration and Exclusive Tour of the ModPac Building featuring Rocco Termini - ○ Rocco Termini, developer of the Mod Pac building, will introduce this behind-the-scenes tour of this 110-year-old, landmark-turned-apartment complex. Buffalo City Hall - This one hour, guided walking tour explores Buffalo City Hall, one of the largest city halls in the United States. The tour normally includes the Council Chambers, Mayor's Office, and the Observation Deck. More info.

Buffalo Whirlwind Tour - The Campaign for Greater Buffalo History, Architecture and Culture offers a professionally guided tour on the Open-Air Autobus. Tour highlights Buffalo’s architectural hotspots, historical districts and the Erie Canal. More info.
