The 20th Annual Masten District Jazz Festival will pay Tribute to James “Pappy” Martin with music by Terrance Bruce, Nikki Hicks, Love Supreme Trio and Paradigm Shift. Wayne Escoffery & Warren Wolf will headline with Bags and Trane, a tribute to John Coltrane & Milt Jackson.

Investigative Post presents it’s News, Brews & Rock ‘n’ Roll fundraiser featuring Tom Toles and the Outlyers. He’ll be performing on Wednesday evening at Sportsmen’s tavern with guest performers: Mary Ramsay, Pauline Digati, Buck Quigley and Bob Kozak. In addition to the music, the benefit will feature an auction of several of Tom’s original cartoons drawn for The Washington Post.
