All hail Jareth, the Goblin King! Celebrate the life of our beloved pop icon with a special screening of Labyrinth, Jim Henson’s surreal 1986 masterpiece, starring the fabulous David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly. (Dress up!)

Fri 1/22 TUDOR LOUNGE KARAOKE REUNION

Tudor Lounge, 8pm

Karaoke, comedy and covers? What more could you ask for this Friday night? Clayton Williams and Spencer Carr will start the evening with stand up comedy, Ed Wyner will take to the stage and perform all of your favorite hits, and then The Tone of Bones will be taking your karaoke requests until Pink o’ Clock.

FRI 1/22 LATIN JAZZ W/MICHEL FERRE & VLADIMIR ESPINOSA

Special Visiting Artists Series presents an evening with acclaimed musicians percussionist Vladimir Espinosa and pianist /arranger Michel Ferré who will perform original compositions from their CD Acoustic Latin Jazz. Jeff Hoffmann joins them on bass. There are 50 seats maximum so hurry up and get your tickets ahead of time!

TUES 1/26 THE TOASTERS

Mohawk Place, 7pm, $12-14

Punk-Ska legends The Toasters play Mohawk Place on Tuesday night. With a style that incorporates a blend of pop, rap, R&B, and calypso, they’ve been putting on great shows since they started playing in ’81, first touring with Bad Brains. Local ska bands The Barksdales and the Abruptors will open for them.

WED 1/27 SEAN PATRICK MCGRAW & THE JAMES’S

Sportsmen’s Tavern, 7pm, $5

Sean Patrick McGraw, Fredonia native and singer/songwriter, 2004 Nashville Star contestant, songwriter for TV’s Trueblood, Nashville, and Sons of Anarchy, and well known country musician who’s toured with Toby Keith and Dierks Bentley, makes an appearance this Wednesday night at the Sportsmen’s with his band The James’s: Eden’s Jimmy Isula and Loisville’s James Hall.
