For years, Hospice Buffalo has been working overtime to light up the lives of terminally ill WNYers through its comprehensive medical, emotional and spiritual services. Operating in homes, hospitals, nursing homes, adult care facilities and its own facility (at the Mitchell Campus) in Cheektowaga, Hospice treats nearly 500 people every day. This holiday season, you can light a life and remember a loved one through Hospice Foundation’s 17th annual Light-A-Life holiday appeal.
For a gift of $25 to $500, Hospice will display your loved one’s name on a tag that will be accompanied by a red, silver, gold or green bow on one of their Light-A-Life Memorial Trees. The trees stand in front of Computer Task Group, the fundraiser’s sponsor, located at 800 Delaware Ave. You can make a donation by calling Hospice Foundation at 686-8090 or by going online to www.hospicebuffalo.com.
A special tree lighting ceremony will take place Saturday, Dec. 3 at 4:30 pm at Computer Task Group.
