Bras Against Breast Cancer |

This Friday evening, check out a fanciful fundraiser, ”BRAvo!” for “WomenStories,” a video project for women with breast cancer. The fundraiser features artworks in the fashion of bras by local artists that are auctioned off to the highest bidder. The BRAs are decadent and stylish, though they are not actually meant to be worn on the body, but enjoyed in your living room. The fundraiser is being held at the new home of Hauptman-Woodward Medical Research Institute, at 700 Ellicott Street in Buffalo, at 6-9pm on Friday, December 2. Tickets are $35 and are available at the door.
Next Saturday, “Women’s Gifts” celebrates their tenth year of an annual hand crafted gifts sale by and for women. The sale is at the Universalist Unitarian Church at 695 Elmwood Avenue on December 10th from 10 am–5pm.
