The coolest, partying-est funk band heads into it’s 12th year and they are ringing in some holiday cheer. C.O. Jones returns for a holiday gig on Christmas eve eve, this Saturday (Dec. 23) at 11pm at Mohawk Place. The band’s leader, Buffalo native Dave Schulz, is a full-time west coast resident. Much like Santa he has been returning once a year with his C.O. cohorts to deliver packages of booty-shaking soul and funky, funky grooves. Support on Saturday comes from former Pine Dogs singer Gretchen Shulz backed by her band, The Morvelles.
