There’s good rockin’ the first Friday of every month when local supergroup Sun of Memphis stages its high-energy salute to the music of Elvis Presley at the 6pm Nietzsche’s Happy Hour. This week (June 1), all the King’s men have invited friends the Steam Donkeys (pictured) to share the bill, stretching the concept of “Happy Hour” into “Happy All-nighter.” As Sun of Memphis wraps up, the Donkeys take the stage at 10:30, followed by Red & Roxy, Shakey Stage, and L.Z. Dillon, who’ll keep the party going till the wee hours Saturday morning. That’s rockin’ good news, peanut!
