The Foundry Field Recordings come to Mohawk Place on Sunday (Aug. 5). This summer tour is in support of Fallout Stations, the companion EP to the recently released full-length Prompts/Miscues (Emergency Umbrella Records). Foundry Field Recordings have played with Spoon, Super Furry Animals, Dresden Dolls, Aqueduct, the Rosebuds, Magnolia Electric Co. and Deerhoof among others. They also had a successful set of shows at this year’s SXSW music festival with their brand of super-textural lo-fi. After the tour the band plans to return to the studio to start work on their second full-length, set for release in March ‘08. Sunday’s show begins at 8pm, with Ice Cream Social and the Magi Chippie
