Saturday night (Oct. 27) marks the return of Mistress J (Jamie Cudney) with the burlesque group the Stripteasers, after recently giving birth to a healthy baby boy. The occasion is “A Nightmare on Allen Street XXV” at Nietszche’s, the annual Halloween party and night of music, dancing, debauchery and ghoulish fun. The Stripteasers will be joined by Honky-Tonk favorites the Steam Dokeys, the Stamp Lickers (featuring some familiar faces from Amy’s Place) and—new to Nietszche’s stage—progressive thrash rockers Athera. They’re also hosting the annual costume party, and this year one creative party goer will win a Sam Adams Mountain Bike for “Best Costume.” Of course, more prizes and surprises await. It all gets going at 10pm.
