King Sunshine

Toronto’s disco-funk fusion dance band King Sunshine returns to celebrate the New Year in Buffalo for the second annual Sound in Motion at the Tralf Music Hall and what may be the biggest New Year’s Eve dance party to hit downtown yet. Get down to punk, rock, house, afro-beat, post-disco, jazz, pop and hip hop while experiencing visuals and projections by the Fractal Project. Besides the ten or so members of King Sunshine, the evening features performances by Thought, Lazlo Hollyfeld, the 12/8 Path band and more. It also boasts “a countdown you will never forget.” And if you want to get a taste of New Year’s early, come down to the Sound in Motion Pre-Party at the Pearl St. Grill, happening on Saturday (Dec. 29), hosted by Beyondo and HiLoFi. Ages 18+ are welcome at both events.
