Meet the new, deluxe version of Buffalo’s own Sweathogs of the Rodeo—the Steam Donkeys—when they take the stage at Nietzsche’s on Friday (April 11) at 7pm sharp.
Launched in San Francisco, the Dodos began life as the Dodobird, a solo project for guitarist Meric Long. Upon discovering guitar finger picking, Long yearned to integrate his guitar style with manic experimental percussion.
Straight from the city of big dreams, Jesse Malin is battle scarred rock and roll vet. He survived NYCs hardcore and punk scenes, making a mark with the fast and out of control Heart Attack and later with St. Mark’s Place glam punks D Generation.
