The Sattler Theatre is a 928-seat, $35,000 "fireproof" structure built in 1914, on the site of the old wood-frame Casino Theatre. A group of black media professionals has purchased the former Sattler Theatre, 512-516 Broadway, one mile east of Main Street, The group’s Reginald Wallace envisions the building showing movies again, as well as housing a range of events ranging from theatrical performances and awards ceremonies to business conferences. |
