Crystal Barton Stays Silent

So some school board employees are allowed to decide whether or not they will participate in an investigation that the school board initiates? Here we have yet another way the Buffalo Public Schools are being mismanaged.
The school board pays $25,000 for an investigation into the McKinley High School circus and yet they don’t require the people involved in the mess to answer to the investigators. Who paid the $25,000? Well, we did. More importantly though, the children in our overcrowded schools paid more dearly because of money being spent on lame attempts to cover up incompetence. This money could have gone to pay for quite a bit of adult attention in classrooms.
The superintendent and some of the members of the school board seem to be hoping that this situation can be swept under the rug but we should not allow it to happen. If you are feeling outrage over the arrogance some of the people in the administration of the Buffalo Public Schools, let your voice be heard.
We keep hearing that we are the greatest nation in the world and yet we mostly sit silently by while some of our representatives in public institutions get away with wasting our tax dollars. How great is that?
