Mannequin Men
Chicago’s Mannequin Men will perform at Mohawk Place on Friday (June 13), bringing just the essentials: Two guitars, a bass, and drums. Their brand of stripped down, straight up rock-n-roll has garnered inevitable comparisons to the Stones and the Stooges, and while those influences are obvious, such comparisons are too simplistic. Often labelled as proto-punk as well, Mannequin Men just do what they do, and they do it damn well. The show starts at 10pm, and support comes from the Found and Chylde
