Ryan Monbleau
The Ryan Montbleau Band returns to Nietzsche’s on Friday (June 13) for a show at 10pm. Last year’s release, Patience on Friday—a tribute to the band’s good friend and backup drummer Denis Babin, who passed away in 2006— showcases the singer’s soulful style. Lyrically driven as always, the new songs may be a bit less sunny than fans are used to, but Montbleau’s funky mix of rock and R&B is in top form. If you want to get there early, come after 6pm for a happy hour show with Five to One.
