“Think globally, buy locally” is a true Buffalo mantra this holiday season. But how about “think globally, buy locally, and demand equality”? This holiday season look to Pride Center od Western New York’s “Shop with Pride,” an innovative new program that identifies LGBT-friendly local businesses and partners in the Buffalo area so that you use your hard-earned dollars to support the businesses that support you.

Each Shop with Pride participating business is marked with the Pride Center’s rainbow dots on their storefront windows so they can be easily identified. These businesses were asked to support our community by taking part in the program, and there were plenty who didn’t answer the call, so that makes us even more thankful for those who agreed. Not only are they supporting our community by using the decals to identify themselves as LGBT-friendly, but each has partnered to offer an exclusive discount to our Shop with Pride card carriers!

Stop by the Pride Center and help out the local LGBT community by purchasing a discount card that will provide you with exclusive savings at our Shop with Pride participating businesses. This year’s Shop with Pride discount card can be purchased for $20 and is valid until December 31.
