N*E*R*D

N*E*R*D stands for Noone Ever Really Dies.

N*E*R*D is pronounced en ee are dee.

N*E*R*D is the Neptunes (sort of), and the Neptunes are Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo. Along with Sheldon ‘Shay’ Haley, they form this revolutionary offspring of the production duo that Williams and Hugo spawned for the millenium. N*E*R*D hits include “Lapdance,” “Rock Star (Poser)” and “She Wants To Move,” the first two off of 2001’s In Search Of... and the latter from 2004’s Fly or Die. A very eagerly anticipated 2008 release is scheduled for this coming spring (get a taste on the web from the single “Everyone Nose”). The trio brings its incredibly high-energy show to the Town Ballroom this week, on Tuesday (Feb. 4). Doors open at 7pm.
