Edgefest, 103.3’s annual rock extravaganza, is back with a bigger lineup than last year, a better weather forecast (84° with little chance of rain), and a MUCH better location. Promotoers moved the event from the Outer Harbor to the more popular Canalside. Co-headliners Deftones and City and Colour are a truly imaginative pairing. There are few frontmen who can match the insane performance level The Deftones powerful singer Chino Moreno, who is at once as haunting as Depeche Mode and as hard as Pantera. Pairing Moreno with the beautiful voice and songwriting of Dallas Green of City and Colour promises a full spectrum musical experience. Also on the Edgefest bill: Sam Roberts Band, Joywave, The Joy Formidable, The Holy White Hounds, and The Tokyo Police Club. Many of these bands, like Sam Roberts, could easily be headliners themselves..
