There are dozens of YouTube videos of Annika Rose singing her in her bedroom and other parts of the house. Accompanying herself on keyboards she plays original songs and covers she likes by artists like Adele, Rihanna, Ariana Grande, etc. Something about her is quite endearing and she has a sincerity that is lacking in many young artists on the scene. She was born into a musical family—her mom’s a songwriter, her dad plays guitar and piano so it’s no surprise music is her thing. Rose has just released a video for “Fly To You,” the folky yet romantic lead single from her debut EP, Ventura Boulevard. Her FaceBook page has a fun photo of her with Katy Perry, so it’s clear where she’d like to go with her music, to the top.

The video was  directed by Ece Gurlu (Christina Aguilera, Halsey) and Kit Walters. The starts somberly and builds to eventually pose the question so many find in a relationship, “I’m not good enough, so what am I to do? what am I to lose?”
