Indy Hack: Dalai Lama’s approval of cult leaders in exchange for money is well known

Following recent revelations of the sex-slaver cult NXIVM and the arrest of its leader, Keith Raniere, for sex trafficking, the Dalai Lama’s endorsement of the sinister cult in 2009, said to have been accompanied by a $1 million donation, has created a call by some for further scrutiny of the Dalai Lama. Artvoice publishes a multiplicity of views and opinions and does not necessarily endorse all of them. Indy Hack has been covering the Dalai Lama and his group for several years and has formed a view that may be worth the reader’s time to assess.

The Dalai Lama’s approval of cult leaders in exchange for money is well known, but the mainstream media turn a blind eye towards it.

In the 1990’s, the Dalai Lama supported Shoko Asahari, the leader of the Aum Shinrikyo doomsday cult in exchange for cash. He wrote letters of support which helped him establish his group as ‘authentic’ in Japan and some commentators have said that the Sarin gas attack would never have been able to take place without the Dalai Lama legitimising Asahari’s cult.
The incredible thing is that even after the Tokyo subway gas attack, the Dalai Lama still supported Asahari. On 7th April 1995, just 18 days after the sarin gas attack, the Dalai Lama spoke to the Japanese Kyodo News Service. He described Asahara to them as his, “friend, though not necessarily a perfect one”.
The Dalai Lama’s ‘man in America’ Robert Thurman (father of Uma Thurman) also tried to use the Anonymous hacking collective to target people who were protesting against the Dalai Lama. Despite the fact he was obviously soliciting hacking, and despite the fact that Anonymous issued an official statement via Twitter in response to his request, no police action was taken against him.
Finally the Dalai Lama’s own government still to this day carries two lists on their official website listing the names and photographs of people who have protested against him. In one case they included a woman’s home address. At this very moment the president of that organisation is on an official visit to the US and has refused to take down the list.
These people are bullies, thugs and will break the law and threaten people’s lives to fulfill their Lama’s wishes. It’s sick and yet they’re praised in the western media.
