2019 Hope Chest Dragon Boat Festival Announcement
Luminina, operating as Hope Chest, a local 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit agency that provides exercise and nutrition classes, emotional support, and paddling training for breast cancer survivors, announces the Annual Hope Chest Buffalo Niagara Dragon Boat Festival? to be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019.
The 2019 Hope Chest Buffalo Niagara Dragon Boat Festival? will once again be held at Buffalo RiverWorks. This premier waterfront location is a popular Buffalo venue for boating, sports, music and entertainment and is the ideal location for this exciting summer event. The venue has spectacular waterfront views and many amenities that create a dynamic and beautiful environment for our coveted annual race and festival. Spectators and teams will be equally impressed with the abundant viewing areas, vendors, and large concession area. A basket raffle, merchandise sale, refreshments and children’s activities will be available. This exciting Western New York summer festival is free to spectators!
Registration is limited to 60 teams comprised of corporate, community and breast cancer teams from all over North America. Many teams have already committed to this fun-filled event. We anticipate team registration to fill quickly due to the increased interest from both out-of-town and local teams as this event has grown in size and popularity. Register your team early to ensure participation in this exciting Western New York summer festival! All proceeds benefit Hope Chest of Buffalo.
