The American Legion Department Commander Gary Schacher, Department President Marie Mock, SAL Detachment Commander James Coates, and Legion Rider Director Bob Wallace will be touring the World War I exhibit as we commemorate the 100th Anniversary of that War and of The American Legion which was founded in 1919.

At this time, in conjunction with Visit Buffalo Niagara representative Mike Even Vice President of Sales & Services, we will announce that the Department of New York American Legion Family will be holding their Annual Convention in downtown Buffalo the week of July 15. The economic impact to the area will be approximately 2 million dollars, with approximately 2,000 rooms at the Hyatt and Buffalo Grand Hotels.
