Winnipeg’s Alone I Walk Sign with Anchor Eighty-Four

Winnipeg’s Alone I Walk have signed with Anchor Eighty-Four and will release their debut EP this spring.

In the past year, the band has opened for PVRIS and Silverstein and will play shows later this month with Calling All Captains, Rarity and more.

Anchor Eight-Four’s Cody Jones says, “I am super excited to welcome Alone I Walk to the Anchor Eighty Four family! Upon hearing the new demos from brothers Franky and Pascal, I could hear the immense potential the guys would create! I flew the guys down to Los Angeles from their hometown of Winnipeg, MB, Canada to record their label debut EP with producer Johnny Liu at Catacomb Studios. The partnership and bond that Johnny and Alone I Walk formed while working together completely elevated the new songs to a level I’ve been dreaming about ever since. We cannot wait to show everyone these songs in the coming months.”

Hailing from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Alone I Walk was born from the creative mind of Franky Courcelles. After brother Pascal Courcelles’ own band separated, he soon joined his brother Franky in what would become a soon to be iconic musical partnership. Alone I Walk brings a wide range of energetic, hooky rhythms that are perfectly tied together with the strong and emotive vocal delivery by frontman François Courcelles that are tightly supported by Pascal for the impactful harmonies that they bring to their sound both live and on record. The brothers soon signed to Los Angeles based label Anchor Eighty Four Records during the winter of 2019. Traveling to Los Angeles shortly after, Alone I Walk tapped producer Johnny Liu (In Her Own Words, Movements, Slowtrip) to help elevate (an understatement) the demos they had written for their label debut EP due out later this year.

Upcoming shows:

APR 09 Bulldog Pizza- Winnipeg, MB, Canada (w/ Calling All Captains, Six Outta Ten, Face Lift)

APR 25 The Good Will – Social Club- Winnipeg, MB, Canada (Rarity & Romancer feat. Alone I Walk & Guests)
