Vocális Chamber Choir closes its historic 17th season with Soundscape, a unique program of diverse choral colors, both a cappella and accompanied.
Concert is Sunday, June 2, 4:00 pm at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1080 Main Street, Buffalo.
“This concert will be an extravaganza for the ears,” says Vocális director, James Burritt. “The choir will be joined by a unique blend of instruments in an evening that will transport the listener through an exciting spectrum of sound. When paired with Vocális’ signature a cappella repertoire, Soundscape promises to be a memorable and moving event. Join us!”
From the heavenly and soulful, to the dynamic and powerful, Vocális assures a concert that is a feast for the ears. The program includes music by current choral greats, Ola Gjeilo, Eric Whitacre, Arvo Part, and Eriks Esenvalds among others, with accompaniment by solo violin, tenor saxophone, organ, piano, classical guitar and percussion.
