Oy Oladokun Releases Official Video For “Blame”

Joy Oladokun represents all the best practices of smooth lullaby rock from past and present day. [Her] self-proclaimed genre of ‘rock-n-soul,’ is dreaming like Sunday morning,” saysLadygunn.
Joy is currently preparing to kick off a series of shows-including an East Coast tour with Jillian Jacqueline this May, as well as a performance at Nashville Pride at the end of June.
After gaining viral traction from her song “No Turning Back,” Joy Oladokun‘s incredible voice was no longer a secret. Since then, Joy has performed at notable festivals including Threshold Festival & SoulFest in Liverpool and shared the stage with artists such as Julien Baker, Gabe Dixon, Penny & Sparrow and more. When Joy writes and sings, you hear the voice of someone who has lived the song and is willing to re-live it again and again every time she performs it. “Sober,” Joy’s first single from her upcoming project, was written about sobering up emotionally and physically after wasting too much time on the wrong person. While other artists will continue to follow the same path, Joy will create her own path by marching to the beat of her own drum and pave the way for the next generation of music.
