Guitar master Joe Satriani has called Adrian Legg “the best acoustic guitarist he’s ever heard.” Born in London, Legg’s music is a colorful blend of gentle contemplative ballads, snappy and percussive jams, rock-edged electricity and hints of folk music, Irish jig and church influences. In short, he is a master guitarist of the highest order.
“Some artists have problems reproducing their recorded sound live,” said Legg, “but my problems are the other way around, that is, actually recording the live sound as well as it works onstage.” Obviously, Legg’s connection with the crowd is what propels him to greatness. Legg is also a commentator-at-large for National Public Radio’s All Things Considered.
