The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra closes with a once-in-a-lifetime performance of Richard Strauss’ classic Alpine Symphony, with a beautiful visual projection of images on a large screen behind the orchestra. Tobias Melle is a cellist and a photographer who has played in many orchestras and performed most of the music that he has later worked on “photo-choreographically.” A “Symphony In Images” creates a stunning atmosphere and the pleasure of the music is intensified. This is the key to the stunning success of “Symphony in Images.” This widens the impact of the music and huge audiences have already taken up the invitation to this special journey. In addition to the Strauss masterpiece, Local composer Ron Gardner will premiere his composition “Sanctuary of the Soul”, a rhythmically adventurous work for cello and orchestra.
