Big Sugar is a Canadian blues, reggae rock band formed in 1988 in Toronto, Ontario. Big Sugar built a reputation as an outstanding live band and is known for their thundering rock shows performed without set lists. Lead singer/guitarist Gordy Johnson is also an acclaimed producer, mixer and session musician. He has produced, performed and/or mixed for such musical acts such as Warren Haynes, Taj Mahal, Gov’t Mule, Molly Johnson, The Black Crowes, Jonny Lang and Double Trouble and many others. The band performed at Woodstock 1999 and recorded albums in both French and English. Get in your car and take a trip to Niagara Falls and see one of the most eclectic and underrated bands performing today!
