Trinidad-born R&B star Billy Ocean had a string of hits in the seventies and eighties, like Caribbean Queen (which won him a Best Male Vocalist Grammy), “When The Going Gets Tough, The Tough Gets Going” and “There Will Be Sad Songs To Make You Cry” and “Get Out Of My Dreams, Get Into My Car.” Billy appeared on Jimmy Fallon’s show recently promoting his current tour. It was reported this month that Ocean caught an unusual disease while on tour and died in Johannesburg, South Africa. Rumor buster site Swopes has confirmed that the news is yet another death hoax and Billy is alive and well. You can’t always believe what you read!
