Niagara Falls-born Bobby Previte is a jazz drummer, composer and bandleader. Previte’s compositions are often tightly arranged, although they leave room for significant amounts of improvisation. He has performed as a leader or sideman with such jazz greats as John Zorn, Charlie Hunter, Steve Swallow, Greg Osby, Nels Cline and John Medeski. In 1996, Bobby rolled though the USA with his young “Weather Clear, Track Fast “ band including three new stars of jazz: Jamie Saft, Cuong Vu and Andrew D’Angelo. Now twenty years later, Previte again presents to you some of the stars of tomorrow from the Brooklyn jazz scene: Mike Gamble (guitar), Michael Kammers (saxophone, piano and organ) and Kurt Kotheimer (bass). Together, they are Bobby Previte and the Visitors. Just returned from a tour of Europe, The band will be recording their second release directly after this date.
