Boz Scaggs gained fame with his classic rock songs “Lowdown” and “Lido Shuffle” from the multi-platinum album “Silk Degrees.” Of his new spellbinding album “A Fool to Care,” Boz says “I’m at the point where I’m having fun with music, more than ever.” He has an All-Star band including Steve Jordan on drums, Willie Weeks on bass, Ray Parker Jr. on guitar and Jim Cox on keyboards.

Don McLean, also on the bill, is most famous for his song “American Pie” about the plane crash deaths of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and the Big Bopper. “American Pie” was voted number 5 in a “Songs of the Century” poll by the National Endowment of the Arts. MaClean’s manuscript of “American Pie” sold for $1.2 million at a Christie’s auction.
