BPO

The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra joins the global celebration of the 400th anniversary of the death of William Shakespeare with a free concert in Delaware

Park. Actors from Shakespeare in the Park join the BPO for an evening of music and scenes from the Bard’s works, presented on the newly renovated Shakespeare in the Park’s stage. Compositions from such varied composers as Tchaikovsky, Mendelssohn, Cole Porter, Leonard Bernstein, Korngold and Prokofiev will tribute the legacy of the greatest playwright who ever lived. This free concert is sponsored by Gibraltar and Delaware Councilmember Joel Feroleto, with support from Gurney, Becker and Bourne, Brain Parisi Copier Systems and an anonymous friend of the BPO. This is an excellent opportunity for children to be introduced to theatre, music and the arts.
