Buffalo-Niagara Film Festival - WED-SUN, 4/13 - 4/17
The Tonawanda Castle, Screening times are at thebnff.com
The Tonawanda Castle is the host of the 2016 Buffalo-Niagara Film Festival with over 100 movies and shorts on three different screens. In addition, executive director Bill Cowell offers workshops to help filmmakers and artists learn their craft from experts. From 10am to 10pm on Friday, The Animation Workshop brings together artists of all disciplines to create an animated short for a local organization. My Animated Life’s 24 hour challenge allows artists to go through the entire pipeline with industry professionals and must produce 15 seconds of animation using techniques and messaging defined by a client. You don’t have to be a filmmaker to attend the festival and with 3 screens running at the same time, Film buffs can decide what to view all five days. It is the Filmgoer/Artist event of the year. Enjoy!
