There are few people who can match Dave Schulz and his band C.O. Jones when it comes to rousing a crowd to shake their booties. The funkmaster, who has been living in LA, will be landing his funky Memorial Day music machine at DBGBs Friday, May 27th for a hometown jam featuring some of Buffalo’s most gifted musicians including the celebrated Zuri Appleby on bass and the great Rob Locurto on guitar. Sister Gretchen Schulz will also be on hand to sing and play guitar, as well as a half-dozen other talented folks. Expect Dave to pull people from the crowd, as well. If you’re looking for a boatload of high energy funkin’ fun then this C.O. Jones show is not to be missed.
