Blurring the lines between country, folk, indie, and rock, LA native Desure releases a cover of Bob Seger’s “Sailing Nights.” The bearded troubadour announced his upcoming self-titled debut EP out May 3, 2019 tying into his show at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.

Desure recently released “Los Angeles,” rife with wailing slide guitar, a sunny spirit underscores the telling admission, “Los Angeles, you’re killing me. Lord, I can’t live on two hours sleep. With a daily dose put up my nose to the women we talk to after shows, it’s a simple reminder of what’s to come when I say I won’t-but wind up drunk.”

He also released “West Wind (Stay Here Awhile)” off his upcoming EP which Glide Magazine said, “Desure

ties together the alt-country earnestness of early Neil Young, Rhett Miller and Ryan Bingham with a cusp of sly and soulful vocals.”

Josh Desure jumpstarted his career in the music business tour managing for Midland, hitting the road with the trio as they toured their debut album On the Rocks. After a last-minute opening stint for the band in Bakersfield, Desure hung up his tour-manager hat and decided to give music a real go.

Representing the missing link between sixties Laurel Canyon and desert dust bowl country right from the heart of Bakersfield, Desure traffics on his own road beset by unfiltered storytelling, evocative instrumentation, and soulful delivery. Like candid dialogue befitting of a late-night cruise in the glow of headlights and nothing more, the bearded troubadour doesn’t censor a thing. As a result, he steadily maintains pace on an upward rise highlighted by syncs on NETFLIX’s The Ranch, sold out tours supporting Midland, and acclaim from the likes of Rolling Stone within a year since his emergence.

Desure is currently on tour with Midland for their “Electric Rodeo Tour” in both the U.S. and U.K. Desure will also be performing select dates with the legendary Willie Nelson and singer-songwriter Dwight Yoakam.

Rev. J. Benjamin Hardwick and Curtis Somoza created a life insurance program for poor South Los Angeles congregants, funded by investors and insured by Transamerica. Early deaths, delayed payouts and federal intervention turned the plan into a fraud case.
