Darien Lake, Sat August 20th, 7pm Tickets start at $22

One of Buffalo’s most successful rock & roll bands, the Goo Goo Dolls, will be performing their new album, “Boxes” at Darien Lake. The song, “So Alive” is the hit song from the album and the band has performed it on the Jimmy Kimmel Show, Conan, and The Today Show. The Goo Goo Dolls are also celebrating the 20th anniversary of their hit album “A Boy Named Goo” (has it been that long?), which became one of the most popular alternative rock albums of the mid 90’s. The band is not only successful in the music business but are known for their philanthropy. On July 25th of this year at the Chicago Cubs vs. Chicago White Sox baseball game, the band sang the anthem and sold their jerseys, with all proceeds going to the wonderful St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Also on the show, Collective Soul is an American rock band from Georgia that broke into mainstream popularity with their first single, “Shine” and since recorded seven number one rock hits. Tribe Society will open the show.
