Toronto born and bred, The Lowest of the Low were trailblazers in the Canadian Rock music scene in the 1990’s. As Low’s lead singer and main songwriter, Ron Hawkins has enjoyed many accolades including songwriter of the year in 2000 by NOW Magazine’s readers poll and a Lifetime Achievement Award from Toronto’s FM station, The Edge(102.1). Willie Nile has been called by the New York Times as “One of the most gifted singer-songwriters to emerge from the New York scene in years. His new album “American Ride” was chosen as Rock Album of the Year in the 2014 Independent Music Awards public vote. He has toured with The Who and has sang with Bruce Springsteen and E Street Band numerous times. This is an all age event but minors under the age of sixteen must be accompanied by an adult. Enjoy some great music and help support The Food Bank of WNY feed the needy.
