For the past year, or, according to some sources, the past several years, covert plans have been ongoing between the State University of New York at Buffalo and WNED to forge a “collaboration” between the university’s FM station, WBFO, and the Western New York Public Broadcasting Association (WNYPBA)—the organization that owns and operates the television and AM and FM radio stations that broadcast under the call letters WNED.

Stone is not the movie it initially seems to be. Which is a good thing, because the movie it starts out as does not seem very good at all. It got bad word of mouth when it played at the Toronto Film Festival, and I wonder how much of that came from viewers who left after the first reel.
