Lou Christie is an American singer-songwriter best known for three separate strings of pop hits in the sixties, including his 1966 hit “Lightning Strikes.” Christie became active on the oldies circuit in the early eighties and had his final chart hit “Summer ’81 Medley” with the Cantina Band. Highlights of Lou Christie’s career include sharing the stage with Diana Ross and the Supremes for 72 straight one nighters and a command performance for Queen Elizabeth. Lou has backed such Rock and Rolls Legends as The Rolling Stones, The Who, Neil Diamond, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis and Little Richard. Christie’s falsetto is his calling card and made him a star. From teen idol to Rock and Roll legend, head down to the casino and see Lightnin’ Lou Christie strike again and again!
