Mexican Soprano Guadalupe ”Lupita” Leal has delighted audiences in Mexico, Spain, Chile, Honduras and the United States with her heartfelt interpretations of Mexican songs. Ms. Leal’s CD, Intimidad, which was recorded for the Instituto Michoacano de Cultura features Purepecha songs of indigenous music from composers from the Mexican state of Michoacan. Lupita will accompanied by the extraordinary guitarist Michael Mendoza and together they will perform classic Mexican songs as “Besame Mucha”, “Cucurrucucu Paloma”, “Serenata Huasteca” as well as songs in her beloved Purepecha. In addition to her musical career, Ms. Leal has been the dubbed voice in hundreds of movies, cartoons and TV shows dubbing English into Spanish. An authentic World Music performer not to be missed!
